Serving children from three-years-old through third grade
The central purpose of Children’s Church is to glorify God and bring honor to His name by being conformed to the image of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29; 1 Corinthians 6:20; 1 Peter 2:21). Therefore, we dedicate our Sunday morning efforts to teaching and modeling for our children how to live God-centered lives.
In order to accomplish these goals, we strive:
- To personally nurture and train each child in the ways of the Lord.
- To teach the Word of God in a way that inspires our young ones to grow in grace and knowledge.
- To excite a love for God’s people gathering in God’s Church.
- To present the truth of Scripture to those who don’t know Jesus.
- After a time of fellowship around table games, we have a much needed bathroom break. This is followed by a time in prayer together and a light snack.
- Then, the children learn a story from the Bible through the use of Flannelgraph. Afterwards, the children actively participate in a time of worship through music.
- If time allows, there is a lively review game that reinforces the truths taught throughout the morning.
