2008 Johnson Family Christmas Letter

E-mail Print PDF
If you do not believe, you have every right to be uncomfortable this Christmas! If Christmas has not changed your life, don’t put this note down until you have read everything.

The gospel message of Christmas should greatly frighten all who do not believe and love Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. God, the Creator of heaven and earth, the Great and Powerful Maker of the universe became flesh and dwelt among us; this is the message of Christmas. This great God who made us all, and to whom we will all be accountable, became one of us in order to make Himself known. If you want to know God, you find Him in the Person and Work of Jesus Christ.

Why not tell God right now, in your own words, that you despise your sin and believe Jesus Christ died for you and rose from the grave. Tell God you accept His forgiveness from sin and by faith receive eternal life He has provided for you. Acknowledge that you want Him to be your leader and the Lord of your life. Admit that you are willing to surrender your life to Him and follow His Word till the day your die ((Mark 1:5; Luke 24:46-47; Acts 16:29-30; Romans 10:13).

Dear loved one, belief upon the Lord Jesus Christ will give you the peace for which you so desperately long, and the good news and glad tidings of Christmas will be truly yours. But don’t seek comfort until you believe and bow before the Babe in the manger in worship and obedience because you have recognized that He is God with us!

Merry Christmas 2008
